Regulation 6(1) of the Fire Safety and Evacuation of Buildings Regulations 2006 requires owners of buildings to have evacuation procedures in place for the safe, prompt and efficient evacuation of the building's occupants in the event of a fire emergency. Fire equipment is virtually useless if your staff do not know how to use it. Building Fire and Compliance provides Fire Extinguisher Training skills and required knowledge about the use of water, foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder, and wet chemical fire extinguishers. NZQA courses Unit Standard 3271 and 4647 can be provided if required.
